Online Associate of Arts

The Associate of Arts (AA) online syllabus is focused on providing students with a broad foundation of knowledge. Students pursuing an AA degree will acquire a base of skills and knowledge needed to pursue additional post-secondary education or to enter the workforce.

The AA degree is accepted for transfer into bachelor degree programs at University Canada West (UCW) and BC degree-granting institutions if other admission requirements are met.

Program Structure

Associate of Arts online program has the same program structure as its on-campus alternative, differing only in the delivery method. Taking this program online allows you to study and finish assignments around your other commitments.

Associate of Arts degree content is delivered online using:

  • Detailed study materials
  • One-on-one time with your professor via email and Skype

With identical materials provided and the same syllabus covered, students pursuing an Associate of Arts degree online will enjoy the same learning outcomes as those studying on-campus.

Entry Requirements and Tuition Fees

Entry requirements for the Associate of Arts degree online are identical to those for the on-campus equivalent. We offer the University Access Program for those who don’t have English as their native language and don’t meet the English Language proficiency requirements.
